Oguzhan Akcin

I’m a Research Scientist at Meta (Search AI), where I work on large-scale AI for information retrieval, including LLM-based judges that automate high-accuracy query–document relevance assessment.

Previously, I completed my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, advised by Sandeep Chinchali.
My research focuses on active learning and decentralized data collection for multi-agent robotic systems, with methods spanning submodular optimization, generative modeling, and bandwidth-efficient data curation.
